World Drivers’ Championship career
Ader’s place in World Championship records came through the Indianapolis 500.
Between 1950 and 1960, the AAA- and later USAC-sanctioned race counted as a round of the FIA World Drivers’ Championship. Indianapolis competitors therefore received World Championship starts and could earn international points alongside those awarded in the American National Championship.
Ader made one Indianapolis appearance in 1950. He finished in 22nd place and did not score a World Drivers’ Championship point.
