Wayne Alois Weiler (December 9, 1934 – October 13, 2005) was an American racing driver whose career began and ended in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.

Weiler first kicked up dust on Arizona’s dirt tracks in 1951. By 1958, he had graduated to the USAC Championship Car series, making 19 starts over four seasons. Consistency became his calling card: he recorded ten top-ten finishes, with the highlight arriving on home soil in 1960 when he claimed third place at Phoenix.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway also featured in his story. Weiler qualified for the Indianapolis 500 in both 1960 and 1961, improving to a career-best 15th-place finish in his second appearance.
On June 11, 1961, his national career was disrupted by a serious crash during a USAC sprint-car race in Terre Haute, Indiana. Often repeated accounts claim that the accident forced him to retire, but that was not the case. Weiler returned to competition, although he left the national scene and did not race in USAC again. From the late 1960s until 1973, he competed mainly in Arizona, concentrating particularly on midget racing.
Even after stepping away from the cockpit, Weiler remained firmly connected to motorsport as a team owner and manager. He continued working in racing until his death from a heart attack in Phoenix at the age of 70.
