Jimmy Stewart

James Robert “Jimmy” Stewart, born in Milton, West Dunbartonshire, on 6 March 1931, was the elder brother of Jackie Stewart. He made one World Championship appearance for Ecurie Ecosse and also contested non-championship races. Away from driving, his life included work in the garage business and support for projects addressing alcohol problems in Scotland. The Scottish racer died on 3 January 2008, aged 76.
