Giorgio Francia (born 8 November 1947) is an Italian former racing driver whose long career encompassed Formula Three, Formula One, endurance prototypes, touring cars and rallying.

Francia won Germany’s Polifac Formula Three Trophy in 1974. Two decades later, he added a very different honour by taking victory in the 1994 Monza Rally Show.
His Formula One record consisted of two entries, neither of which produced a race start.
The first came at the 1977 Italian Grand Prix, where Francia was entered in a works Brabham BT45B wearing Martini Racing colours. He took part in practice but was withdrawn before the race.
Francia received another opportunity with Osella at the 1981 Spanish Grand Prix. He recorded the slowest practice time and failed to qualify.
Those unsuccessful weekends represented only a small part of his career. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, Francia raced factory Osella sports prototypes in endurance competition.
He later became a works Alfa Romeo touring-car driver, representing the manufacturer in both the Italian Superturismo Championship and the DTM.
Francia continued competing in sports cars and touring cars into the late 1990s, building a varied professional career that extended far beyond his two brief Formula One attempts.
