Nellemann’s only Formula One entry came at the 1976 Swedish Grand Prix, where he drove for the RAM Racing team using Brabham machinery. Over the course of the event, he attempted to qualify in two different cars—a Brabham BT42 and a BT44B—but ultimately failed to secure a place on the starting grid.
He was also listed as an entrant for the following year’s Swedish Grand Prix, though he did not take part in the qualifying sessions.
Despite his limited involvement at the top level, Nellemann remains part of the group of drivers who reached the fringes of Formula One during a highly competitive era for privateer teams.
