French racing driver Jacques Pollet was part of the pioneering generation that helped shape post-war Grand Prix racing. Although his Formula One World Championship career was brief, Pollet earned his place on the grid during one of the sport’s most competitive and dangerous eras.
Making his World Championship debut on 4 July 1954, Pollet went on to contest five Formula One Grands Prix. While he did not score championship points during his Formula One appearances, his participation in the World Championship reflected both his talent and his standing within French motor racing at the time.
