Clemar Bucci (4 September 1920 – 12 January 2011) was an Argentine racing driver who competed in Formula One during the sport’s early World Championship years. A regular competitor in both World Championship and non-championship Formula One events, Bucci made five World Championship Grand Prix starts between 1954 and 1955 but did not score any championship points.
Away from the circuit, Bucci also pursued automotive design, creating the Dogo SS-2000 grand touring prototype.

Racing Career
Born in Zenón Pereyra, Argentina, Bucci emerged as one of a number of talented South American drivers to reach Formula One during the 1950s. He made his World Championship debut on 17 July at the 1954 British Grand Prix and went on to contest five Formula One Grands Prix, while also taking part in several non-championship Formula One races that were a prominent feature of the era.
Although he was unable to finish in the points during his World Championship career, Bucci competed during one of Formula One’s most formative periods, when the championship featured many of the sport’s pioneering teams and drivers.
Car Design
In addition to his racing career, Bucci had a keen interest in automotive engineering and vehicle design. He developed the Dogo SS-2000, a prototype grand touring car that demonstrated his ambition beyond the driver’s seat and reflected his passion for high-performance road cars.
DEath
Bucci died in Buenos Aires on 12 January 2011 at the age of 90.
