2023 Spanish Grand Prix winner

The 2023 Spanish Grand Prix marked the 40th Formula One World Championship win for Max Verstappen, making him the sixth driver to reach 40 wins and the first Dutch driver to do so. It was also the 99th World Championship win for Red Bull Racing.

Lewis Hamilton scored his 193rd podium of his Formula One career, while Verstappen recorded his 84th. George Russell claimed the 10th podium of his career, becoming the 79th driver to reach ten podium finishes and the 16th British driver to do so. It was also the 283rd and 284th podium finishes for Mercedes, and the 245th podium for Red Bull Racing.

Verstappen took the 24th pole position of his career, which was also the 87th pole for Red Bull Racing. He also set the fastest lap of the race for the 24th time in his career, delivering the 88th fastest lap for Red Bull.

This race produced the 47th front row start for Verstappen and the eighth front row start for Carlos Sainz. It was also the 19th time Verstappen converted pole position into victory, the 11th time he won with fastest lap, and the sixth hat-trick of his career, achieved by taking pole, victory and fastest lap in the same Grand Prix.
